Sorcery Mastery

Sage Mage

Sorcery Mastery is a fast-paced local multiplayer arena game where two players compete by creating unique magical builds every match and testing them against each other. It combines MOBA-inspired combat, roguelike progression, and a shrinking safe area inspired by battle royale games, all presented with anime-like visuals. Players begin each game by exploring the arena, defeating monster camps and bosses, levelling up, then drafting sorceries, items, and masteries that synergise with one another. As the match progresses, the safe area slowly shrinks, forcing increasingly intense encounters and pushing players towards a final battle.

Every draft presents meaningful strategic decisions, encouraging players to experiment with different combinations of elemental magic, elemental combos, defensive abilities, mobility skills, and passive effects. Success comes not only from creating a powerful build, but also from adapting to your opponent's strategy and countering their build. By combining fast-paced combat, meaningful build choices, and highly replayable gameplay, Sorcery Mastery delivers a competitive experience where strategy, adaptation, and player skill are equally important.

Developed as a solo project in Unity with third-party art and audio assets, Sorcery Mastery is designed around replayability, accessibility, and competitive gameplay. The game supports local two-player split-screen multiplayer, AI opponents for solo play, and both controller and keyboard-and-mouse input. Its short tutorial and matches, which typically last under five minutes, make it well suited for live showcase events, allowing players to learn the game and experience multiple rounds quickly.
